Over the last 11 years the International Women’s Day city breakfasts have raised over £270,000 for Refuge – a wonderful achievement for which Refuge is most grateful. Since opening the world’s first refuge 46 years ago the charity has been saving and rebuilding the lives of thousands of women and children who experience domestic violence every year. Additionally, this year, we will make a small contribution from the funds raised to FANY (Princess Royal’s Volunteer Corps) in acknowledgement of their support in the response to recent terrorist incidents.
