As we are now in the consultation period of the homicide review (launched by the Home Office on the 14 June 2006) now is a great time to influence the formula of homicide reviews, so we urge everyone who reads this page to write to their MP and ask their MP to reinforce the importance of reviews being:

  • Family evidence led
  • Chaired by an independent individual
  • Assisted by independent experts
  • Represention from victims on the review committee
  • Set up from the premise that many domestic violence homicides re both predictable and preventable
