ING New York City Marathon 2008 Sunday 2nd November 2008 Experience the New York City Marathon on a Refuge guaranteed place. This fabulous 26.2 mile race will take you past the Big Apple's most spectacular landmarks, through the five boroughs of Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Manhattan. With several million spectators, the atmosphere throughout this race is electric. Not only will this be the experience of a lifetime, but you will be helping Refuge to save lives. We are not tied in to any travel or accommodation packages so runners are free to make their own arrangements. We also welcome own place ballot runners in our team.
