Head of fundraising – Tower Hill London

Do you think it is a national disgrace that in England and Wales, two women a week are killed by their partner or ex-partner? Or that one woman in every four will experience domestic violence at some point during her life-time?

Do you want to work for an organisation that provides a voice for these women, and play a vital role in ensuring that life-saving services are in place to support them? If so, then Head of Fundraising at Refuge may be the perfect role for you.

Refuge is the country’s largest provider of specialist services for victims of all forms of gender-based violence. Every day we support over 3,300 women and children in our national network of services. We advise Government and lobby to keep violence against women and girls high on the public agenda. We run award-winning prevention and public education campaigns, managing a busy press office and website, and we are an accredited training provider.

Refuge is committed to a world where domestic and other gender violence is not tolerated and where women and children can live in safety. We aim to empower women and children to rebuild their lives, free from violence and fear.

Furthermore, you will use your strategic insight and wealth of experience to develop a new, innovative vision for the team, underpinned by a fundraising blueprint that maximises new income generation opportunities for Refuge. You will also work to create sustainable additional income streams over the long term.
